The fashion show of the competition took place on the evening of December 11th on a 120-meter-long, 10,000-square- ^meter yacht anchored in the middle of the Saigon River.

Using pure silk, artisan and designer Trung Dinh has applied ombre dyeing techniques (manual blending and color transitioning to create a new texture) combined with hand-painting.

The application of ombre dyeing techniques makes the design even more impressive.

He chose to paint architectural landmarks and natural landscapes characteristic of countries and territories around the world , transforming the traditional Vietnamese dress into a "heritage painting" that moves in sync with the model's movements.

The performance was made even more vibrant with the addition of accessories such as silk scarves and conical hats.

Through this show, he wants to share with international friends an understanding of each stage of development and the history that led to the modern ao dai.

The top 5 contestants in traditional Vietnamese ao dai dresses include representatives from Vietnam, Bahamas, Peru, Philippines, and Ecuador.

"In a context where the world doesn't yet fully understand the ao dai, and why it's sometimes like this and sometimes like that, I want to summarize how the ao dai has developed today."

Miss Phuong Linh attracted attention with her ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) featuring a painting of Nha Rong Wharf.

Trung maintains the traditional design of the ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) with the aim of preserving and promoting cultural values. He believes that promoting culture must be done gradually, allowing the international community to recognize the ao dai as a Vietnamese garment.

Miss Peru, Kelín Rivera, 32, delivered a captivating performance at the fashion show.

This time, he still chose silk, but with a different weave, featuring patterns and a brocade sheen to change the aesthetic effect.

The designs on the shirts are inspired by the natural wonders, architectural masterpieces, and art of each contestant's hometown.

Trung Đinh, whose full name is Đinh Xuân Trung, was born in Sông Cầu ward ( Đắk Lắk province ). He is a young designer who pursues a fashion style rooted in cultural values. He chooses Vietnamese silk and traditional craftsmanship techniques to create works that possess artistic depth and national identity.
