Coming here, students can feel a miniature cultural space of their people and learn about other beauties and aspects through many good books.

This model has collected more than 60 different artifacts with rich and diverse designs and forms. Most of the artifacts are made from bamboo and rattan materials, crafted and produced by local artisans such as: tools for daily life, musical instruments used in festivals, costumes of the Van Kieu and Pa Ko ethnic groups. Regarding costumes and jewelry, they include: shirts, men's and women's shawls, necklaces; musical instruments such as gongs, trumpets, flutes, zithers, trumpets, drums, etc.; hunting tools: crossbows, nets, a noac, a ruong, etc.; living tools such as a du, caria, a dien, tup, tu rung truoi, tobacco pipes, stilt house models, etc.

“This cultural space is often called “A small corner of the homeland” in the heart of the school by the school’s staff, teachers, students and parents. This “small corner of the homeland” contributes to building a friendly school with active students, where students not only learn knowledge but also “live in culture”.

"Being a bridge between school - family - community, promoting the role of the elderly and local artisans in traditional education. Creating conditions for organizing experiential activities, cultural and artistic activities, and life skills education associated with national culture", said Nguyen Mai Trong, Principal of A Xing Primary and Secondary School.

Upon hearing the news that the school was building a space for ethnic culture, Ho Thi Bich, a Van Kieu ethnic, a 9th grade student at A Xing Primary and Secondary School, went home to inform her parents. Realizing that this was a meaningful activity, her parents went with her to school to contribute some traditional household items such as: baskets, rice cups...

“In the future, I will continue to learn more about traditional products with my friends, ask my grandparents and parents to guide me in making items to contribute to the school’s cultural display space, and at the same time, actively participate in activities at the Van Kieu and Pa Ko folk song clubs to perform in cultural and artistic activities at school and in the locality. I think if everyone in the school contributes a few artifacts, this cultural space will become richer and more vibrant,” Bich happily said.

The unique cultural exhibition space of the Primary and Secondary School has created a lively and intimate learning environment, helping students better understand their origins, customs, and traditional occupations of their ancestors. Promoting the initiative, creativity, and sense of responsibility of students and the community in preserving cultural heritage.
