Package XL1 Ho Chi Minh Road Project: Striving to complete 6/6 bridges before April 30

According to the Ho Chi Minh Road Project Management Board, due to remaining land clearance issues, it is expected that by April 30, Package XL1 of the Ho Chi Minh Road Project, Chon Thanh - Duc Hoa section, will only be open to traffic at locations where hot asphalt concrete has been poured. Specifically, the section through Bau Bang district is currently stuck with site clearance at locations such as the DT750 intersection, the DH 614 intersection...; stuck with technical infrastructure works for the optical cable line Km14+350 (DT750 intersection), the medium and low voltage power line Km14+350 (DT750 intersection). The section through Dau Tieng district is stuck with site clearance at the DT744 intersection: Km 40+020, the DT749 A intersection: Km22+000...; entangled in technical infrastructure works of medium and low voltage line Km22+00 (DT749 A intersection), medium voltage line Km30+300 (DT748 intersection), medium and low voltage line Km 40+020 (DT744 intersection).

A location in Package XL1 is still stuck with site clearance.

It is known that up to now, the construction volume of Package XL1 has reached nearly 80% of the contract value. The package has a total route length of about 31.15km (including bridges on the route), of which the asphalted section is more than 27km long. Currently, the construction unit has completed 3/6 bridges, the remaining 3 bridges will be basically completed before April 30, 2025.
