Thuan An City launches Action Month for Children and opens summer 2025

(BDO) On the morning of May 18, at the historical relic site of Thuan An Hoa War Zone, Thuan An City held the launching ceremony of the Month of Action for Children and the opening of the summer of 2025 with the theme "Prioritizing resources to complete goals for children".

Thuan An City leaders express gratitude to accompanying units

After the memorial ceremony, the children listened to a presentation about the historical value of the Thuan An Hoa War Zone relic and enjoyed a vibrant and colorful welcome performance.

On this occasion, Thuan An City presented the “Red Scarf House” project, the “For Beloved Younger Children” project, 10 “Lighting Up the Dreams of Thuan An Children” scholarships and 30 gifts to children with cancer. The organizing committee also gave hundreds of summer gifts to the children and expressed gratitude to the units that support the children of the city.

Speaking at the ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hien, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee, Head of the Steering Committee for Youth and Children's Activities in Thuan An City emphasized: "In 2024, the city has awarded more than 5,000 gifts, bicycles, and scholarships to poor children who have overcome difficulties, supported medical examination and treatment, given health insurance cards, and school supplies, helping them to improve their lives."

She also called on all levels, sectors, organizations, business communities and each family to join hands to act for children, for a safe summer, a healthy living environment and for the future of the country's green buds.
