Accordingly, the Provincial People's Committee assigned units to promote communication activities on the key themes and messages of the Vietnam Sea and Islands Week in conjunction with World Oceans Day 2025; strengthen the control, monitoring and treatment of plastic waste and solid waste in coastal and island areas; research and deploy green projects and initiatives such as coastal parks, floating waste collection systems, automatic environmental monitoring stations serving the community and on-site environmentaleducation for implementation. At the same time, launch emulation movements and community movements to encourage the participation of people, businesses, social organizations and content creators in propagating and spreading the message of sustainable ocean protection on popular digital platforms; promptly detect, commend and reward organizations, individuals, communities and businesses that have made effective contributions to the dissemination, management and sustainable use of marine space, rational use of resources, and protection of the marine and island environment.
