Doctors conduct heart disease screening for people

During this period, doctors conducted heart disease screening and examination for over 100 people in the district.

For cases of people diagnosed with cardiovascular diseases requiring surgery under the age of 18, Gia Dinh People's Hospital will contact sponsors to perform free heart surgery; in the remaining cases, the unit will support surgery costs for patients in need of surgery with difficult circumstances.

Over the past years, Gia Dinh People's Hospital has coordinated with Lam Dong Department of Health , Lam Dong General Hospital and Lam Dong General Hospital II, and the Provincial Red Cross to conduct free heart disease screening and heart surgery with financial support (for adults and children), especially for children under 15 years old with health insurance, 100% of surgery costs are supported.
