Nearly 15,000 billion VND added to pay for central officials and civil servants after streamlining

Accordingly, the Government will add VND 14,940 billion to resolve policies for 13,168 officials and civil servants at central agencies according to Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP of the Government.

The Decision also clearly states: Ministries and central agencies are fully responsible for managing and using the allocated funds to ensure correct payment to the right subjects, policies and regimes according to the provisions of Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP, Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP and Circular No. 07/2025/TT-BTC of the Ministry of Finance and guiding documents of the Ministry of Home Affairs, to avoid loss, waste, negativity and complaints.

Notably, among the ministries and central agencies, the Ministry of Finance is the unit with the largest number of people receiving support, with the support amount accounting for more than 76% of the total budget. Specifically, the Ministry of Finance was supplemented with more than VND 11,400 billion to implement policies for 10,444 people under Decree No. 178/2024/ND-CP and Decree No. 67/2025/ND-CP on streamlining the payroll and streamlining the State administrative apparatus.
