Dien Bien Phu Street in Ho Chi Minh City was suddenly renamed Vo Nguyen Giap Street on Google Maps, causing surprise and inconvenience to online map users.

Specifically, on the morning of February 15, Dien Bien Phu Street was suddenly renamed Vo Nguyen Giap Street on the Google Maps application, causing many inconveniences for people using online maps to participate in traffic.

When accessing the Google Maps application on iOS, Dien Bien Phu street in Ho Chi Minh City is displayed as Vo Nguyen Giap street and sometimes the name Dien Bien Phu street is displayed in the lower background layer and the name Vo Nguyen Giap street is displayed in the upper background layer, depending on the operation on the mobile device.

Google's communications representative in Vietnam said that Google has noted the above situation and is verifying it, however, from morning until nearly 4 pm the same day, the above situation has not been resolved.
