Hanoi bans roads serving the walking street area of ​​Ngoc Khanh Lake

With the agreement of Hanoi Department of Transport, Ba Dinh District People's Committee adjusted traffic organization on some neighboring streets to serve the activities of the Service Business - Walking Street area of ​​Ngoc Khanh Lake.

Specifically, from 6pm Friday to midnight Sunday every week, Pham Huy Thong Street, alleys 535, 575, 523 Kim Ma Street and alley 998 La Thanh will be closed and traffic will be diverted to serve the activities of the Service Business - Walking Street area of ​​Ngoc Khanh Lake.

This traffic organization adjustment plan will be implemented until the end of the pilot period (12 months).

The People's Committee of Ba Dinh District is responsible for presiding over and directing the arrangement of checkpoints and on-duty forces at checkpoints.

At the same time, closely coordinate with the Traffic Police and Transport Inspectorate to guide traffic flow, ensure safety and avoid traffic congestion; have plans to ensure fire prevention and fighting, and rescue in case of emergency situations.

At the same time, the district needs to arrange and organize parking locations according to regulations, ensuring traffic safety; regularly monitor, evaluate and proactively coordinate with relevant units to adjust and supplement parking locations, and at the same time organize traffic appropriately in case of detecting inadequacies.

It is known that the walking street around Ngoc Khanh Lake has a total investment of nearly 30 billion VND from the budget of Ba Dinh district. This is a project to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
