Hanoi has the best hotel in the world 2023

An accommodation facility in Hanoi was ranked 16th in the top 25 best hotels in the world in 2023 by Tripadvisor.

Considered a quiet oasis in the heart of bustling Hanoi , La Sinfonía del Rey Hotel & Spa is the only representative of Vietnam to be mentioned by Tripadvisor in the top 25 best hotels in the world in 2023. This is the first time a hotel has been honored in this category. In 2022, a hotel in Hanoi also made it into the top 25.

The hotel is located in the Old Quarter, a few steps from famous tourist attractions such as The Huc Bridge, Hoan Kiem Lake, Thang Long Water Puppet Theater. With a boutique style design, this 48-room hotel started welcoming guests from 2019, prices from 2 to 4 million VND.

This year's winner is Rambagh Palace in the pink city of Jaipur, India. Other Asian hotels in the top 25 include: Ozen Reserve Bolifushi (Maldives), The Ritz-Carlton (Hong Kong), JW Marriott Marquis (Dubai), Padma Resort Ubud (Indonesia).

The top 25 hotels are part of the annual Travelers' Choice Best of the Best Awards. In addition to the world's best, Tripadvisor also ranks the best hotels in the region and country. The categories are announced in turn at the end of May. The voting period is 12 months (as of the time of announcement).

Rankings are based on votes from a panel of experts and visitors. Reviewers must have real-life experience. Feedback and star ratings must be published on the website and cannot be deleted or edited after commenting.

The voting criteria are based on the hotel's location (easy access, size, surrounding scenery), cleanliness, staff friendliness and whether the price corresponds to what guests receive.
