Hanoi approves road plan along Hong right dike in Son Tay

According to the Decision, the route passes through the communes and wards: Duong Lam, Phu Thinh, Le Loi, Son Tay town with a route length of about 2.5km. The starting point is at the intersection with Ring Road 5 (Vinh Thinh bridgehead); the end point is at the intersection with Le Loi street. The route direction is determined on the basis of the General Planning of Son Tay town (incorporating Son Tay satellite city) until 2030; the approved urban subdivision planning projects of Le Loi and Phu Thinh wards.

According to the plan, the route has a typical cross-section of B=21m including a roadway of 2x7.0m =14m (4 lanes), a 1.5m wide median strip, a 3m wide southern sidewalk, and the remaining area of ​​about 2.5m for arranging safety strips and curbs. The section through the existing residential area is designed with two different roadways to ensure direct and smooth traffic access.

The intersections between the route and existing crossroads and planned crossroads are organized as level intersections. The intersection with Ring Road 5 (at Vinh Thinh Bridge) is studied and implemented according to a separate project. The red line boundaries of the intersections with planned crossroads shown in this document are only preliminarily determined and will be supplemented and specifically determined in the detailed planning projects on both sides of the route and the investment project to build crossroads or intersections approved by competent authorities.

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Planning and Architecture to check and confirm the route plan documents, scale 1/500, in accordance with the content of this Decision; and take responsibility for the accuracy of the submitted data.

Son Tay Town People's Committee, based on the route plan approved by the City People's Committee, shall preside over the organization of public announcement of the route plan documents and implement the investment project according to regulations; hand over the documents to the People's Committees of the communes and wards: Duong Lam, Le Loi and Phu Thinh to manage the construction planning along both sides of the road and related units to implement the work of preparing the construction investment project according to regulations; deploy the marking at the same time during the implementation phase of the road construction investment project; manage architectural planning, grant construction permits for works along the road according to the construction investment project of works approved by competent authorities and the architectural management regulations of Hanoi City (Son Tay Town area).

The Chairman of the People's Committee of Son Tay town, the Chairmen of the People's Committees of the communes and wards: Duong Lam, Le Loi and Phu Thinh are responsible for organizing the management of boundary markers, the construction of works along the route according to the approved route and boundary marker plan; inspecting and handling cases of planning violations according to their authority and regulations of law.
