Hanoi establishes a team to examine and issue driving licenses for road motor vehicles

(Dan Tri) - The road motor vehicle testing and licensing team under the Hanoi Traffic Police Department has officially taken over the task of testing and issuing driving licenses from the Department of Transport.

On the afternoon of February 28, the Hanoi Traffic Police Department informed that the Hanoi City Police Department had just held a ceremony to launch the Road Motor Vehicle Testing and Licensing Team under the Hanoi Traffic Police Department. This unit officially took over the task of testing and issuing driving licenses from the Hanoi Department of Transport.

Accordingly, from March 1, the Road Motor Vehicle Testing and Licensing Team will carry out activities including: organizing testing and issuing car driving licenses; receiving applications for changing and re-issuing driving licenses; issuing international driving licenses, etc.

"This transfer aims to improve the effectiveness of state management, ensure publicity, transparency and create maximum convenience for people," informed the Hanoi Traffic Police Department.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Quyen, Deputy Director of Hanoi City Police, requested the traffic police force to quickly deploy their tasks, ensuring that the testing and issuance of driving licenses are carried out continuously and without interruption.

At the same time, promote the application of information technology, reform administrative procedures, and guide people to use online platforms to save time and effort.

According to the Hanoi Traffic Police Department, the Road Motor Vehicle Driving License Examination and Issuance Team is located at 2 Phung Hung, Van Quan Ward, Ha Dong District. People can submit their applications directly at two reception locations:

Facility 1: No. 2 Phung Hung Street, Van Quan Ward, Ha Dong District. Facility 2: No. 253 Nguyen Duc Thuan Street, Trau Quy Town, Gia Lam District.
