After the success of the August Revolution, the work of protecting the secrets of the Party, State and army's policies, resolutions and directives through the cryptographic technical system was an extremely urgent and pressing requirement...

In response to that request, implementing the Directive of the Party Central Committee and Uncle Ho, on September 12, 1945, the Cryptography Department under the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army was established. This was the first cryptographic organization of the army and also the first cryptographic organization of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam. After 80 years of building, fighting and growing, the Cryptography industry has excellently completed its tasks through the revolutionary stages, contributing worthily to the cause of resistance, building and defending the Fatherland.

Together with the Vietnam Cryptography Industry, Phu Tho Province Cryptography was established in the early years of the resistance war against French colonialism. With their steadfastness, the province's cryptography cadres always maintained their revolutionary qualities, had absolute confidence in the Party's leadership, strictly followed discipline and regulations of the industry to excellently complete their tasks.

To meet the aspirations of generations of cipher officers in the province, the Provincial Cipher Liaison Committee was established on October 7, 2000; initially with 50 members, now there are more than 300 members; of which more than 80% are party members, 50 are female members, 32 are war invalids, 28 are victims of Agent Orange.

Every year, the Liaison Committee has mobilized and helped members with especially difficult housing circumstances; organized visits, longevity celebrations, and charitable activities with a total amount of hundreds of millions of VND; actively proposed to resolve the seniority regime in the Cryptography industry for members.

At the meeting, members of the Provincial Cipher Liaison Committee reviewed the industry's traditions and continued to promote them, believed in the Party's leadership, constantly cultivated and trained, fulfilled their tasks well, and contributed significantly to the entire province in successfully carrying out the industrialization and modernization cause for the goal of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.
