The above figures are according to the Hanoi City Statistics Office, of which, domestic revenue is 346.9 trillion VND, reaching 73.2% and increasing by 55.4%; revenue from crude oil is 1.1 trillion VND, reaching 26.3% and equal to 68.5%; revenue from import-export activities is 14.1 trillion VND, reaching 51.5% and increasing by 44.8%.
Some major revenue sectors in domestic revenue in the past 5 months were revenue from the state-owned enterprise sector, which achieved 41.3 trillion VND, reaching 51.3% of the annual estimate and down 2.9% over the same period last year; revenue from foreign-invested enterprises, which achieved 17 trillion VND, reaching 55.9% and up 12.9%; revenue from non-state enterprises, which achieved 70% and up 45.1%.
Personal income tax was VND29.3 trillion, reaching 58.6% and increasing by 25.5%; land use fee collection was VND68.3 trillion, exceeding 60.6% and increasing by 7.4 times; registration fee collection was VND3.2 trillion, reaching 44.8% and increasing by 12%; fees and charges collection was VND9.8 trillion, reaching 41.7% and decreasing by 2.6%.
Also in the past 5 months, local budget expenditures reached 47.4 trillion VND, reaching 28.6% of the year's estimate and increasing by 30.2% over the same period in 2024.
Of which, development investment expenditure was 17.6 trillion VND, reaching 20.2% and increasing by 16.8%; regular expenditure was 29.8 trillion VND, reaching 42% and increasing by 39.7%.
In May, the city attracted 1,393 million USD in FDI capital. Of which, 36 projects were newly registered with a total investment capital of 169 million USD; 23 projects were adjusted to increase their investment capital by 1,216 million USD (mainly due to the Yen So Park construction project of Gamuda Land Vietnam Co., Ltd. with Malaysian capital contribution increasing by 1,120 million USD, contributing to the strong increase in FDI capital); 19 foreign investors contributed capital and bought shares with a capital of 9.1 million USD.
In the first 5 months of 2025, the city attracted 2,873 million USD of FDI capital, 2.6 times higher than the same period in 2024. Of which, 151 new projects were registered with a capital of 210 million USD; 68 projects added additional investment capital with 2,413 million USD; foreign investors contributed capital and bought shares 132 times, reaching 249.9 million USD.
