Hanoi implements the Data Law

Kinhtedothi - On February 19th, the Hanoi People's Committee issued Plan No. 50/KH-UBND on the implementation of the Data Law.

Accordingly, the Plan aims to specifically define the content of work, deadlines, completion progress, and responsibilities of relevant agencies, units, and organizations in implementing the Data Law. It also defines the responsibilities and coordination mechanisms between departments, sectors, and the People's Committees of districts, counties, and towns in carrying out activities to implement the Data Law throughout the city. Furthermore, it seeks to raise awareness of the Data Law and the responsibilities of all levels, sectors, and localities in its implementation.

Content of implementation: Disseminating and educating the public on data-related laws. Providing in-depth training and professional development in the areas of data development, protection, management, processing, and utilization. Supplying materials for disseminating the Law and other legal documents detailing and guiding its implementation; providing training and professional development materials on data development, protection, management, processing, and utilization as guided by the Ministry of Public Security .

In addition, review legal documents. Participate in providing feedback on legal documents detailing and guiding the implementation of the Law and other related documents. Implement administrative documents from the central government to support the implementation of the Law. Ensure the necessary infrastructure, technical, and technological conditions for the implementation of the Law.

Focus on the synchronized and effective implementation of data collection, updating, and synchronization into the national integrated database, and ensure the provision of technical and information technology infrastructure of the National Data Center to state agencies. Inspect the implementation of the Law and other legal documents detailing and guiding its implementation at the local level.

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City assigns the heads of departments, agencies, organizations, and affiliated bodies of the City, and the Chairmen of the People's Committees of districts and towns, the responsibility for implementing this Plan. Based on the content of the Plan and the actual situation, relevant departments, agencies, organizations, and the People's Committees of districts and towns shall develop detailed plans for implementing the Law within the scope of their respective agencies, units, and localities.

Furthermore, the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City requires ensuring unified direction from the central to local levels; close, regular, and effective coordination among departments, agencies, People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities, and relevant agencies and organizations in the province in implementing the Law. The work content must be linked to the responsibility and leading role of the City Police in coordinating with departments, agencies, People's Committees of districts, towns, and cities, and relevant agencies and organizations. The heads of agencies, organizations, and units assigned the task must proactively implement the Plan according to schedule, ensuring uniformity, quality, practicality, and effectiveness.
