Hanoi in top 25 most favorite destinations of all time

According to the Information Center (Vietnam National Administration of Tourism, Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism), the Traveller's Choice Awards Best of the Best Destinations of the world's leading online travel platform Tripadvisor takes place annually to honor the highest level of excellence in the tourism industry. This award is given to units and destinations that receive the most positive comments and highest ratings from the community within 12 months. Tripadvisor said that less than 1% of the 8 million units and destinations on this online platform have been awarded the Best of the Best award.

This year, Hanoi was honored in the following categories: Top 25 World's Leading Cultural Destinations (2nd place), Top 25 World's Leading Destinations (7th place) and the special category Top 25 Most Favorite Destinations of All Time to celebrate Tripadvisor's 25th anniversary (14th place).

Tripadvisor commented that, through the ups and downs of time, with many different names, the thousand-year-old capital has never forgotten its glorious history. Not only famous for its precious cultural and historical values, Hanoi also attracts tourists from all over the world with poetic lakes, cool green parks, tree-lined streets, along with hundreds of ancient temples and pagodas. All of these create a colorful Hanoi, contributing to increasing the attraction of the capital.
