Ha Thu Hang: Changed after music award, emotionally sang a song of gratitude

(Dan Tri) - Ha Thu Hang was once known as a hot girl of the Vietnam National Academy of Music. Besides her outstanding beauty, she also possesses a solid musical foundation and a voice rich in technique and emotion.

After winning first prize at the 2024 Qingyin Award - Youth Music Festival held in China in July 2024 , Ha Thu Hang did not choose the flashy spotlight but devoted her efforts to community projects and music products with meaningful gratitude and humanity.

Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Ha Thu Hang said: "After the contest, I was really touched when I received so much love from the audience. The words of encouragement, messages of concern and support from everyone have given me great motivation. Currently, work has become busier with many new schedules, but I feel happy and grateful for that."

Returning to Vietnam, Ha Thu Hang worked at the People's Police Music and Dance Theater and was one of the prominent voices of mainstream music.

Working in a highly disciplined, strict environment with many unique characteristics, Ha Thu Hang revealed that she always tries to arrange her living hours and performance schedule. "I always try to adjust myself to adapt and complete the assigned work well," the singer said.

On the occasion of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, singer Ha Thu Hang released the MV "Glory to the Fatherland" to express gratitude to the heroes who sacrificed for national independence.

This is a composition by musician Dong Thien Duc, with a heroic tone mixed with nostalgia, depicting the image of a soldier leaving for the Fatherland, leaving his youth on the battlefield. Possessing a soulful, powerful voice, Ha Thu Hang makes the audience choke up.

Due to the tight production schedule, the production team was unable to complete the music video as originally planned. Therefore, the stage version of the song was chosen to be released first, as a spiritual gift to the audience on this sacred occasion. The MV was directly directed by director Pham Duc Dung - General Director of Bach Ma Film Studio - and is expected to be released on September 2.

Singer Ha Thu Hang emotionally said: “The MV is a stick of incense I want to send to my fathers, uncles, those who have fallen or left part of their bodies on the battlefield. Without them, there would be no us today.”
