Ha Tinh meets the standards of universalizing lower secondary education and eliminating illiteracy

The Ministry of Education and Training has just issued Decision No. 1503 dated May 28, 2024, recognizing Ha Tinh province as meeting the universal secondary education standard level 3 and the illiteracy eradication standard level 2, by December 2022.

With this result, Ha Tinh became the 8th province in the country to achieve universal secondaryeducation level 3, and ranked 23rd in the country to be recognized for eliminating illiteracy level 2.

The province currently has 147 schools planned in the direction of inter-commune and inter-level schools with appropriate scale to improve the quality of education and facilitate and ensure safety for students going to school. The list of basic teaching equipment is sufficient according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

In 2022, the whole province has 216 communes, wards, towns and 13 districts, towns and cities that have met the standards of universalizing lower secondary education level 3 and eliminating illiteracy level 2. Of which, the number of literate people reached 99.99% in the age group of 15 to 60. This is a worthy recognition of Ha Tinh's efforts in universalizing and eliminating illiteracy, contributing to improving people's knowledge and training human resources.
