
According to the Department of Construction, implementing the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for policy families, poor and near-poor households, by May 9, the whole province had built 406/692 new houses, reaching 58.7%; repaired 756/761 houses, reaching 99.3%.
All 12 localities have completed the target of building 15 new houses each before May 19. Of which, Gia Loc district built the most new houses in the province with 59 houses, followed by Kinh Mon town with 53 houses, Tu Ky district with 40 houses...
Up to now, 9 district-level units have completed house repairs; 3 units have not completed, namely Kim Thanh, Tu Ky and Thanh Mien districts.
Previously, at the request of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau, each district, city and town completed the construction of 15 houses to organize acceptance and put into use the first phase on the occasion of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday, May 19.
Up to now, the province has allocated over 86.6 billion VND in funding to support households in building houses from the provincial budget, the Gratitude Fund, the Provincial Fund for the Poor, and 5% of regular spending savings in 2024 at the district level. Localities have disbursed 64.35 billion VND.
Hai Duong has 1,453 policy families, martyrs' relatives, poor and near-poor households supported in the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.
