Since the beginning of the year, many cultural and tourism activities have taken place vibrantly, attracting tourists to the district. Typically, the Mun Wave Festival associated with the Ceremony to announce the Decision of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism recognizing the national intangible cultural heritage "Cap sac festival of the Dao Thanh Y people" in Quang Ninh province; Quang Linh communal house festival, My Son communal house, To communal house... In the first 5 months of 2025, the whole district is estimated to welcome 110,900 visitors, reaching 65.24% of the yearly plan, with estimated revenue of 266.16 billion VND, an increase of 146.3 billion VND over the same period in 2024.

In recent times, Hai Ha has devoted a lot of resources to investing in infrastructure and attracting investors to develop tourism in the area. The district has invested in developing and completing a synchronous tourism infrastructure system in terms of traffic (especially traffic connecting to tourist areas, sites, relics, inter-district and inter-commune roads); upgrading and improving the service quality of the traffic route to Cai Chien island (wharfs, ferries, canoes); completing procedures for bringing kayaking products to visit Cai Chien islands and electric car tours to visit Cai Chien island; improving the quality of electricity supply, clean water, environmental treatment, communication, and other social infrastructure systems to meet the requirements of tourism development in the current trend. Special attention is paid to remote communes with many tourism resources such as Quang Duc, Quang Son, etc.

Along with that, the district promotes market development and builds diverse, unique tourism products that are competitive with other localities in and outside the province. In particular, focusing on building 3 groups of specific tourism products. These are: The main, specific tourism group with national and regional significance includes: Sightseeing, research, and cultural experience of the Dao ethnic group in Quang Duc and Quang Son communes associated with resort tourism, exploring the lake on Truc Bai Son mountain; high-class island resort tourism; ecological sightseeing and research in Cai Chien island commune. The group of specific tourism products with local significance includes: High-tech agricultural eco-tourism associated with OCOP and VietGAP products (Quang Minh, Duong Hoa, Quang Thanh, Quang Long communes); Cultural - festival - spiritual tourism (Quang Ha town, Cai Chien, Quang Minh, Duong Hoa communes).

Other supplementary tourism products include: Weekend entertainment tourism: Dragon boat racing, fishing, squid fishing, picnicking, camping (Cai Chien island, Truc Bai Son lake); adventure sports tourism: Mountain climbing, wading, waterfall crossing, trekking to explore primeval forests (Quang Duc commune, Quang Son, Cai Chien); shopping tourism, culinary, walking street, central market (Quang Ha town); Bac Phong Sinh border gate tourist destination (according to Decision No. 1116/QD-UBND dated April 12, 2016) to visit and experience the majestic sacred border.
