
On the afternoon of November 23, at Hai Phong City Theater Square and central streets, the street parade "Honoring Vietnamese Ao Dai" took place in an exciting and colorful atmosphere.

This is an activity within the framework of the Exhibition "Cultural Heritage, Vietnamese Landscapes and Traditional Craft Products 2025", celebrating Vietnam Cultural Heritage Day November 23.
The program is jointly organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hai Phong, the Vietnam Exhibition Center for Culture and Arts and the Center for Culture, Cinema and Exhibition of Hai Phong City.

The parade was attended by nearly 1,000 people from many provinces, cities and art units: Vietnamese Women's Union connecting all provinces and cities of Hanoi , Hai Phong, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh, Quang Ninh, Tuyen Quang; Hai Phong Ao Dai Heritage Club; Vietnamese Ancient Costume Company - Vu Tam Thu; Little Angel Dance Group, Hong Hanh Dance Group; Vietnamese Ao Dai Fragrance Group...
The delegations were arranged into 11 blocks, gathering at the City Theater Square.

At 2:30 p.m., the opening ceremony took place solemnly, followed by street art performances such as Flamenco, Waltz - Tango performed by the City's Center for Culture, Cinema and Exhibition and Sao Bien Dance Club. The festival atmosphere became bustling when the music resounded, hundreds of Ao Dai dresses simultaneously showed off their colors against the ancient architecture of Hai Phong City Theater.

From 2:50 p.m. to 4:20 p.m., the parades moved along the following route: Theater Square - Quang Trung Street - General Le Chan Monument - Nguyen Duc Canh Street - Tran Phu Street - City Gas Station - Tran Hung Dao Street and back to the City Theater Square. Along the route, people were excited to capture beautiful moments, many international tourists stopped to admire and cheer.

The parade brings a colorful artistic space: from traditional Ao Dai, delicately hand-embroidered Ao Dai to youthful, modern designs. Each group shows its own identity through the colors of costumes, accessories and performance, creating a rich cultural connection between localities.

The program ended with a street art performance with performances by Hong Hanh Dance Group, Vietnamese Ancient Costume Group - Vu Tam Thu and folk dance of Vietnamese Women connecting all over Hung Yen.

The parade "Honoring Vietnamese Ao Dai" not only enriches the series of activities of the Heritage Exhibition but also spreads love and pride for traditional costumes - a soft and durable symbol of Vietnamese culture.
