According to the organizers, in the context of Vietnam emerging as one of the fastest growing music markets in Southeast Asia, the Korea-Vietnam Content Forum 2025 is considered a strategic step in promoting cultural and entertainment trade, contributing to connecting businesses of the two countries in the field of digital music.

A survey by Statista (2024) shows that K-pop continues to be the most popular genre in Vietnam, demonstrating the strong influence of Korean culture on young audiences. This exchange opens up opportunities for businesses from both countries to cooperate in music production, exchange artists, develop distribution platforms and share copyright (IP).

Mr. Sung Im Kyoung, Director of KOCCA Vietnam, emphasized: “Vietnam is a key partner in the regional creative ecosystem. Korea-Vietnam Content Forum 2025 is not only a place for cultural exchange, but also a specific trade promotion activity, helping businesses of the two countries expand cooperation in artist training, production and distribution of music content.”

The organizers added that the forum acts as a B2B promotion center for the Korean-Vietnamese music industry, creating conditions for businesses to exchange copyrights, develop co-production projects and expand the music market to the Asia- Pacific region.

Accordingly, more than 100 Vietnamese and Korean businesses and entertainment units participated in B2B trade promotion through networking sessions and specialized meetings, including 12 leading Korean music companies including Kakao Entertainment, Mystic Story, Antenna, BTOB Company, REGIME, Kreation Music Right, RND Company, Showplay, Bluedot Entertainment, Jellyfish Entertainment, Leanbranding and January.

In addition, four in-depth discussion sessions were held within the framework of the forum, focusing on promotion models, trade cooperation and international artist development. Specifically, Mr. Jeong Jae Min (Kakao Entertainment) shared about the model "Casting & Training - Turning global talents into super brands", suggesting training cooperation opportunities between the two countries. Mr. Song Suh Ho (Kreation Music Right) emphasized the strategy "Made in Vietnam, Loved Worldwide", aiming to export Vietnamese music.

The event is part of Korea Spotlight 2025, a global music program implemented by MCST and KOCCA in many countries, including Vietnam, Japan, Germany, Australia and Mexico.

In Vietnam, the event version not only has the meaning of promoting music trade but also affirms Vietnam's increasingly important position in the global creative value chain, where music, technology and media businesses can connect and develop together sustainably.
