In order to support businesses in deploying digital technology solutions, and at the same time encourage people and businesses to use solutions to develop products in e-commerce transactions, the Department of E-commerce and Digital Economy has just operated a genuine goods authentication system through QRCode in e-commerce at https://truyxuat.gov.vn/.
According to this agency, authenticating the origin of genuine products through traceability stamps is an indispensable part of production and business activities, a new trend to protect consumers from counterfeit products that lead to "losing money and suffering" and ensuring equal competitive advantages for businesses.
A traceability stamp is understood as an electronic stamp containing a QR code (authentication code) that businesses stick on the products they produce and supply. This can also be considered a reliable basis for looking up the origin and necessary information of a product.
Each traceability stamp has a unique authentication code. Thanks to that, consumers can clearly understand the necessary information about the product before choosing to buy.
On the surface of the stamp, the encoded information is stored. When using the software or application to scan the QR code, all information about the product such as: origin, date of manufacture, expiry date as well as notes when using the product or information related to the product will be fully displayed.
To check the origin of the product, consumers only need to perform two simple steps: Prepare an application (app) to scan the QR code, you can use the Wincheck app or some new phone models that have the code scanning function in the camera application of the device;
Then, point the camera at the QRcode image and click on the displayed link. Here, the screen will display the exact information of the product.
