According to VNA correspondent in Korea, flights will be operated every Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, departing from Gimhae International Airport at 8:30 p.m. (local time, 6:30 p.m. Vietnam time) and arriving at Noi Bai Airport at 11:30 p.m. The return flight will depart from Noi Bai Airport at 0:40 a.m. and land at Gimhae International Airport at 7:05 a.m. Total flight time is about 5 hours. The airline plans to use A321 NEO aircraft with 232 seats.
On the occasion of resuming flights, Air Busan also introduced Hanoi, famous for its popular destinations, where visitors can explore historic temples and admire magnificent natural landscapes.
In particular, Ha Long Bay near Hanoi is a famous scenic spot recognized by the United Nations Educational , Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) as a World Natural Heritage, attracting tourists from all over to admire the cliffs and beautiful natural scenery.
In addition, Sapa, known as the “Switzerland of Vietnam”, is quickly becoming a popular tourist destination for Koreans. It is said that recently, the transportation infrastructure to this place has improved, turning Sapa into a combined tourist route with Hanoi.
Air Busan used to operate the Busan - Hanoi route regularly in October 2018 but had to temporarily suspend flights in February 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The resumption of the route after about 6 years is expected to boost tourism demand combined with Air Busan's other existing Vietnam routes to Da Nang and Nha Trang.
An Air Busan official said that currently, there are no flights operated by Korean national airlines from Gimhae Airport, so it will be a more convenient option for Korean people. Air Busan will continue to make efforts to enhance the travel convenience of local people by providing a variety of flight routes.
