On the afternoon of November 21, Standing Committee member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Hoang Hai Minh (Group of Delegates No. 8 of the City People's Council) had a meeting with voters in Huong An ward.

At the meeting, voters had a number of opinions and recommendations related to traffic infrastructure; environmental sanitation; policies; site clearance; and early plans to upgrade and repair long-flooded roads, especially key traffic points serving daily life and production.

Voters also recommended that the government pay attention to supporting crops and livestock for households affected by the recent floods, and hope that the support will be implemented promptly and to the right target, creating motivation to continue developing the family and local economy .

Delegation Group No. 8 of the City People's Council also had a meeting with voters in Kim Long Ward. Mr. Vo Le Nhat - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Phu Xuan Ward Party Committee represented the Group to chair the meeting.

In the spirit of democratic centralism, voters of Kim Long ward raised many opinions related to people's livelihood issues such as upgrading and repairing some degraded roads; improving facilities at community activity houses; speeding up procedures for granting land use right certificates...

Also on November 21, Delegation Group No. 3 of the City People's Council, headed by Mr. Ha Van Tuan, had a meeting with voters of Binh Dien commune and Kim Tra ward.

In Binh Dien commune, voters raised a number of opinions and recommendations related to: changing land use purposes; granting land use right certificates; jobs for workers at Binh Thanh Industrial Park; speeding up the construction of Binh Thanh bridge; lighting; supporting livestock households affected by African swine fever; quality of medical examination and treatment at Binh Dien Medical Center...

Voters also suggested renovating and expanding the drainage system on National Highway 49 passing through the area; renovating some roads serving production; investing in upgrading Provincial Road 16, Huong Tho - Binh Thanh; allocating funds for planning work to expand the development space of the commune; supporting funds to operate the smart broadcasting system; limiting the licensing of mining of soil and rock mines...

In Kim Tra ward, voters raised a number of opinions and recommendations related to streamlining the payroll, early retirement and resignation; flooding due to construction of the road along the Bo River; waste collection work not meeting requirements; relocation of degraded electric poles; upgrading low-lying roads that are frequently flooded.

Voters also asked the authorities to consider adjusting the waste discharge system to limit environmental pollution; have policies to support households that have voluntarily donated land for public works; support concreting alleys and upgrading the irrigation canal system.

At the contact points, representatives of communes and wards received and explained the contents within their authority, and committed to handling the remaining issues as soon as possible.

After discussing, answering and clarifying some issues, representatives of Delegation Groups 3 and 8 of the City People's Council requested localities to focus on resolving the voters' legitimate petitions. Issues beyond the authority of the City People's Council Delegation Group will be compiled and transferred to relevant agencies for consideration at the upcoming 11th session.
