However, Nguoi Dua Tin recorded that along the approximately 20km long road from Phan Thiet City to Tan Thanh Commune (Ham Thuan Nam District), there are a series of tourism and accommodation projects that have been stalled and abandoned.

A typical example is the King Sea resort project (Investor Dai Thanh Quang Co., Ltd.) in Tien Binh village, Tien Thanh commune, Phan Thiet city. This project was approved in principle by Binh Thuan province. After 19 years, this project is still an empty lot, full of wild grass.

The above project has a total area of ​​86 hectares, which Dai Thanh Quang Company must deploy to build a high-class resort, including: high-class entertainment tourism services, diverse cultural activities according to international standards, creating architectural and landscape highlights for the area; providing accommodation services and accompanying services; investing in resort real estate business in the form of villas and high-rise apartments associated with long-term land use rights.

However, according to the reporter's observation, the project currently only has an empty lot, overgrown with grass and trees outside, covered by a very tight iron fence.

However, the resort is currently abandoned. Many new resorts have been completed but are not in operation, lacking visitors.

In addition, there are projects and resorts built with concrete frames, but rusty iron bars are clearly visible; some projects have only built foundations and poured concrete pillars, and do not have access roads to the project.

At these projects, grass and trees grow wildly, fences have collapsed in many places, and concrete blocks are piled up in the area. At the time the reporter was there, no workers or machinery were seen constructing. However, there are still some resort projects that are being guarded.

Talking to Nguoi Dua Tin , Mr. Nguyen Trung Hoang, Chairman of Tien Thanh Commune People's Committee said that according to statistics, Tien Thanh Commune currently has about 29 non-state budget investment projects in the tourism sector. Of these, 17 projects have been put into operation, 6 projects are under construction and 6 projects are slow to be implemented such as: Hoang Thuy tourist area, Tien Thanh tourist and resort area, Duc Tan tourist area; Golden Lotus tourist area...

Wasted many "golden land" lots

Thuan Quy Commune (Ham Thuan Nam District, Binh Thuan Province) was once expected to become the province's second "resort paradise" after Mui Ne. This place has a long but still quite wild coastline, attracting many businesses to build resorts here.

Condotel is designed with superior amenities to meet the diverse investment needs of customers. The apartments have from 1 to 3 bedrooms, allowing customers to fully own the apartment for vacation and rental. All resort apartments have open spaces to receive wind and natural light.

However, in reality, according to the reporter's records, the project is an unfinished building block, operating at a standstill. At the time the reporter recorded, the project had no tourists and was not operating.

Along the DT 719 route, turn left onto Hon Lan Street, the Thanh Long Bay resort (Nam Group Corporation) in Tan Thanh Commune (Ham Thuan Nam District) stands out. This resort area is a destination for all needs on a scale of 90 hectares, planned into 12 functional zones with more than 1,000 top-notch amenities serving all needs from entertainment, shopping, relaxation to sea sports with standard resort products: beach townhouses - beach apartments - shoptels - beach villas.

The tourism projects that have been granted land are all located in the most favorable locations along the southern coast of Binh Thuan province. With hundreds of hectares of land granted to projects then abandoned, is it possible that Binh Thuan province has been wasting huge land resources for decades?

Mr. Nguyen Trung Hoang, Chairman of Tien Thanh Commune People's Committee, said that delayed projects not only affect economic development, but also affect people's lives. Slow-progressing projects have caused waste of land resources, loss of budget revenue; led to complaints and lawsuits about land, causing insecurity and disorder in the locality.
