First day of school after many difficulties
Just a few weeks before the opening day of school, Dien Bien experienced a flash flood that severely affected many villages and schools. In addition to the damage to houses and roads, in Muong Luan, the physical facilities of many classrooms were also severely degraded after the natural disaster, making teaching and learning difficult.
In that context, the opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year has a special meaning. The sound of the school drum resounded in the newly renovated school yard, along with the excitement of the students and the sense of security clearly visible on the faces of teachers and parents.

Timely accompaniment
Understanding the difficulties of Dien Bien people, representatives of Unilever Vietnam and Lifebuoy brand along with educational institutions have joined hands to renovate the school's facilities and give small gifts to students. This is a practical support, helping students have a safe, clean and healthy learning environment, ready to enter the new school year.

The joy of small gifts
The opening ceremony atmosphere was even more bustling when hundreds of gifts were sent to students: notebooks, pens, rulers, crayons and products to help them maintain personal hygiene.

The gifts, though small, have contributed to the motivation for the children to enter the new school year with more confidence.
Long-term commitment to clean and healthy schools
Singer Dong Nhi - Lifebuoy brand ambassador - shared: "When arriving in Dien Bien, specifically Muong Luan, the upstream of the Ma River that Nhi used to study in textbooks, Nhi feels even more grateful to those who support the children day and night to go to school. From this school, from the knowledge imparted, from the friendship between teachers and friends, the children will grow up, fly high and far with the most beautiful dreams".

Not only stopping at construction, activities such as installing hand washing systems and instructing students on hygiene also contribute to forming important habits to prevent infectious diseases that can be transmitted by bacteria and viruses. This is a small but sustainable step, helping children maintain good health throughout the learning process.
Meaning beyond a ceremony
For teachers, a more spacious classroom means more convenient teaching; for parents, it means peace of mind when their children go to school; for students, it means a feeling of being cared for, even in a remote area.

The opening ceremony atmosphere at Muong Luan School therefore not only marks the start of a new school year, but also reminds that knowledge and health always need to go together, creating a foundation for children to fully learn and nurture their dreams.
The opening ceremony of the 2025-2026 school year at Muong Luan Primary and Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities ended in a simple but meaningful joy. Thanks to the cooperation of Unilever Vietnam and the Lifebuoy brand with the Ministry of Education and Training in supporting the renovation of the school's facilities, the path to class for students here has become more stable.
This is not just a school opening day, but also a new beginning for hundreds of children in the highlands - a clean, safe and hopeful beginning.
