Hau Giang won many Vovinam medals at the National Student Competition

(HGO) - With 18 athletes from 3 levels: primary, secondary and high school, Hau Giang delegation brought home 1 gold medal, 7 silver medals and 3 bronze medals in Vovinam within the framework of the 2023 National High School Sports Tournament.

Hau Giang delegation ranked 9th out of 25 delegations participating in Vovinam National High School Sports Tournament.

The 2023 National High School Sports Tournament is organized by the Ministry of Education and Training with 7 events: football, basketball, chess, badminton, athletics, swimming and Vovinam. Dong Thap province is authorized to host swimming and Vovinam from May 21 to 26. Nearly 1,000 athletes will compete in 68 Vovinam fighting and combat events; 92 individual and relay swimming events, at 3 levels: primary, middle and high school.
