At the meeting, the delegates of the Provincial People's Council focused on studying, discussing, reviewing the submissions, draft resolutions of the Provincial People's Committee, the verification reports of the Provincial People's Council Committees submitted at the meeting and voted to pass 9 resolutions, with high consensus of the delegates of the Provincial People's Council, including: Regulation of expenditure levels for industrial promotion activities in An Giang province; abolishing the Resolutions of the An Giang Provincial People's Council related to mineral planning and water resources planning in An Giang province; canceling the list of projects with land recovery in 2022 issued with Resolution 05/NQ-HDND of the An Giang Provincial People's Council; list of projects to change the purpose of using protective forest land in 2025;

Supplementing the list of projects with land recovery and change of land use purpose for rice cultivation in 2025 issued together with Resolution 71/NQ-HDND; amending the list of projects issued together with Resolution 11/NQ-HDND of the An Giang Provincial People's Council; abolishing Resolution 24/2023/NQ-HDND of the An Giang Provincial People's Council regulating the land price adjustment coefficient applicable in An Giang province in 2024; approving the list of land plots for bidding to select investors to implement investment projects using land in An Giang province; promulgating regulations on decentralization of authority to decide on purchasing, leasing, using, handling, and exploiting public assets under the management of An Giang province;

Regulating the authority to decide on the purchase of assets, goods and services in the field of science and technology; the authority to decide on investment and purchase of information technology application activities using regular expenditure funds from the state budget under the management of An Giang province; regulating the level of support for health insurance contributions for a number of subjects in An Giang province...

Speaking at the closing session, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the An Giang Provincial People's Council Le Van Nung requested that the Provincial People's Committee urgently institutionalize the resolution into specific regulations, plans and instructions for implementation, so that all levels, sectors, cadres, civil servants, people and businesses, especially those directly affected, can agree and participate in implementing the resolution. At the same time, direct relevant agencies, units and localities to strictly implement land management, especially forest land and rice land, to ensure compliance with regulations. Strengthen inspection, examination and supervision to promptly detect and overcome limitations and difficulties in the implementation process, ensuring that the resolution is soon put into practice and achieves the highest efficiency.
