On May 22, coach Kim Sang Sik announced the list of Vietnamese national team players to prepare for the match against Malaysia on June 10, within the framework of the second match of Group F of the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup.

It is expected that the Vietnam national team will begin gathering from May 26, at the same time, the U22 Vietnam team under the leadership of coach Dinh Hong Vinh will also gather.
