The match between U23 Indonesia and U23 Thailand was so tense that coach Gerald Vanenburg lost his voice from shouting too much, so he could not attend the post-match press conference.

Instead, assistant coach Frank van Kempen attended the press conference. He shared the reason for coach Gerald Vanenburg's absence: "He has lost his voice. During the whole match, the coach shouted too much. That's why I'm sitting here to replace him."

Commenting on the strength of U23 Vietnam, Mr. Frank van Kempen said: “They are a strong team. I have not watched all of their matches in this tournament, only a few matches. I see that U23 Vietnam is very good. We will prepare as best as possible before the final match.”

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Ardiansyah assessed U23 Vietnam: “We are ready to enter the final match. If we have to play penalties, the chances of both teams are 50-50. However, we will try to solve the opponent in 90 minutes.”
