Speaking at the Congress, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Hoai Anh acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the Party Committee, government and people of Ham Thang ward during the past term.
Agreeing with the direction and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term stated in the draft Political Report of the ward, comrade Nguyen Hoai Anh emphasized: To concretize and successfully implement the set goals, the Congress needs to clearly identify the potential, advantages, and resources of the locality, set out feasible targets and tasks to create breakthroughs, contributing to the overall development of the province.
The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Ward Party Executive Committee to focus on building and consolidating solidarity within the entire Ward Party Committee, creating high unity among cadres and party members and the trust and support of local people.
Thereby, creating a combined strength to successfully complete all assigned tasks. Focusing on maximizing potentials and advantages, seizing opportunities to accelerate and promote socio -economic development.
With the advantage of having a lot of room, Ham Thang ward needs to review and implement the overall urban space planning with a long-term vision. Building a green, civilized, modern urban area ensures development space with the focus on Ham Thang - Xuan An urban area which has been approved by competent authorities.

The Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested to strengthen the management of land, resources, environment, construction order, resolutely and strictly handle illegal construction, land encroachment, and environmental pollution. Strive to gradually build Ham Thang ward into an urban area with a synchronous infrastructure system, open space - green - clean - beautiful.
Ham Thang Ward was established on the basis of merging Phu Long town (old Ham Thang commune) and Xuan An ward (old Phan Thiet city). During the past term, the ward Party Committee has led and directed the implementation to achieve many outstanding results.
Industry - handicrafts, trade and services continue to develop: Ham Thang - Ham Liem Commercial - Service Residential Area has an investor to build and complete infrastructure investment (area 17.7/126 ha).
Agricultural production shifts the crop structure towards being increasingly suitable to soil and climate, and promotes the application of scientific and technological advances in production (rice, dragon fruit, green vegetables).
The ward has 5 products recognized as OCOP; annual budget revenue always meets and exceeds the assigned target by over 10%; 9/14 schools meet national standards in education.
The quality of Party organization, government, political system and cadres and party members in the area continues to improve, meeting the requirements of the new situation. The urban landscape has gradually changed thanks to the good mobilization of resources from the people and the use of resources from higher levels.
The Congress reviewed the implementation of the Resolution of the past term, correctly assessed the situation, potential, limitations and identified goals, tasks and solutions for the 2025 - 2030 period.
At the same time, contribute opinions to the draft documents of the Provincial Party Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.
The Congress determined the motto of action: Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development and the Congress theme: Building a clean and strong Party organization and political system; improving the effectiveness and efficiency of state management, building a government close to the people; promoting the strength of great national unity; creating breakthroughs in infrastructure, promoting administrative reform, digital transformation; developing the economy - society, ensuring national defense and security; building Ham Thang ward to develop comprehensively, sustainably and civilized.
During the term from 2025 to 2030, Ham Thang Ward Party Committee focuses on implementing 5 key tasks, 3 breakthroughs, aiming to build a strong political system, comprehensive socio-economic development, striving to achieve the standards of a civilized urban ward by 2030.
The congress focused on discussing breakthrough solutions to exploit potential, mobilize resources, promote digital transformation, develop the economy and improve urban infrastructure.
Previously, the Provincial Party Standing Committee issued a decision appointing the Ham Thang Ward Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 23 comrades; the Commune Party Standing Committee, consisting of 8 comrades. Comrade Dang Thanh Phuc was appointed to hold the position of Party Secretary; Comrade Ngo Thi Thanh Phuong and Comrade Tran Ngoc Hien were appointed to hold the position of Deputy Secretaries of the Commune Party Committee.
