Emergency support of 1,100 billion VND for Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Gia Lai and Dak Lak

On November 23, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc signed Decision No. 2572/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on providing emergency financial support to four provinces: Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Gia Lai and Dak Lak to overcome damage caused by floods.

Specifically, support of 1,100 billion VND from the central budget reserve in 2025 for 4 localities: Khanh Hoa, Lam Dong, Gia Lai, Dak Lak (including: Khanh Hoa province 150 billion VND, Lam Dong province 300 billion VND, Gia Lai province 150 billion VND, Dak Lak province 500 billion VND) to overcome damage caused by floods as proposed by the Ministry of Finance in Document No. 18147/BTC-NSNN dated November 23, 2025.

The People's Committees of the provinces are responsible for proactively balancing local budget expenditures, together with the funds supported by the central budget and other legal financial resources to carry out urgent tasks to overcome the consequences of natural disasters according to regulations.

At the same time, manage and use the above-mentioned additional funds, ensuring publicity, transparency, correct use, correct objects, in accordance with the provisions of the law on the state budget and other relevant legal documents, avoiding loss or negativity; at the same time, report the results of use to the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and relevant agencies for synthesis and reporting to the Prime Minister.
