Directing the Congress, Mr. Ho Thanh Thuy, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province, stated that these encouraging results have contributed to consolidating and enhancing the position and making important contributions of the Farmers' Association to the overall achievements of the local Party Committee, people, and military.

Mr. Ho Thanh Thuy suggested that, in the coming time, the Association should promote the application of digital technology in management, operation, and activities; support members and farmers in applying digital transformation to production, management of growing and raising areas, traceability, and product consumption. The Association should strengthen digital skills training for officials and members; build smart agriculture and precision agriculture models, contributing to improving productivity, quality, and economic efficiency.

At the Congress, Phan Nhu Nguyen, Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, acknowledged and praised the achievements of the Association at all levels, officials, and farmer members in Ca Mau province over the past period.

To ensure that farmers in Ca Mau province continue to develop comprehensively, modernly, and sustainably during the 2025-2030 term, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association suggested that, in the coming time, the Ca Mau Provincial Farmers' Association should continue to strengthen its organization, ensuring adherence to operating principles and adaptability to the new situation; maintain its core political role in the farmers' movement and the development of agriculture and rural areas, and support and accompany farmers.

The Association actively innovates its propaganda and mobilization work among members and farmers, linking it with practical activities and movements to create high consensus among members in effectively implementing the Party's resolutions, the State's policies and laws, and the Association's resolutions, especially those related to agriculture, farmers, and rural areas...

With the spirit of "Unity - Democracy - Creativity - Development," the First Congress of the Ca Mau Provincial Farmers' Association, for the term 2025-2030, determined to continue consolidating and building a strong organization; innovating the content and methods of operation in line with local realities, especially digital transformation, application of science and technology, and international integration. The Association will promote its role in building the Party, the political system, and the national unity bloc…; thereby contributing to raising income, improving the lives of farmers, and building a more modern, civilized, and sustainable rural Ca Mau.

The Congress unanimously agreed on several key targets, including: ensuring 100% of cadres and members receive information, dissemination, and education on the Party's guidelines, the State's policies and laws, and the Association's resolutions and directives, especially regarding agriculture and rural economy; coordinating vocational training and job placement for 12,500 rural workers; and supporting the establishment of 192 new agricultural cooperative groups and 64 agricultural cooperatives…

According to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thoai, Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Farmers' Association, agricultural production in the province will continue to develop stably during the 2023-2025 period. Many policies and guidelines will be effectively implemented in a sustainable manner, adapting to climate change.

The Farmers' Association at all levels continues to promote and improve the quality and effectiveness of the movement "Farmers competing in excellent production and business, uniting to help each other get rich and sustainably reduce poverty". The Association has mobilized 119,656 households to register, and after evaluation, 80,169 households have achieved the title of excellent producers and business owners at various levels. To date, the entire province has 302 OCOP products recognized as achieving 3 stars or higher, creating conditions to increase the value of agricultural products, expand consumption markets, and affirm the brand of Ca Mau agricultural products in domestic and international markets.

The various levels of the Farmers' Association actively propagated and implemented the policies and guidelines of the Party Committee and the government regarding national target programs. As a result, more than 92,156 cadres, members, and farmers registered to implement the new rural development criteria; participated in repairing and building 88km of roads; donated 15,350m2 of land for the construction of public works; mobilized resources to build 16 bridges and repair 28 rural bridges; cleared bushes and collected 23 tons of waste, and mobilized over 11,500 man-days of labor…

The Congress announced the Decision of the Central Executive Committee of the Vietnam Farmers' Association appointing the Executive Committee of the Ca Mau Provincial Farmers' Association, term 2025-2030, consisting of 55 members; and the Standing Committee consisting of 9 members. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Thoai was appointed to the position of Chairman of the Ca Mau Provincial Farmers' Association, term 2025-2030. The delegation to the 9th National Congress of the Vietnam Farmers' Association, term 2026-2031, was appointed to include 15 official delegates and 3 alternate delegates...
