On the evening of June 5, Vietnam International Fashion Week Spring Summer 2025 with the theme Unique Identity Creating Style opened at Nguyen Du Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City.

This is the 19th season opening a new chapter on the journey of shaping the Vietnamese fashion industry, gradually affirming its position on the world fashion map.

Designer Le Thanh Hoa opened the Vietnam International Fashion Week Spring Summer 2025 with his collection The Light of Water . This is the second time he has opened the fashion week.

The Light of Water collection is inspired by the pure beauty and infinite adaptability of water and light.

The combination of main materials such as tulle, taffeta, chiffon, Ma Chau silk... along with elaborate material processing techniques creates vivid visual effects, such as the movement of waves, mist or light, leading the audience into a fascinating fashion party.

Le Thanh Hoa promotes the strength of 3D design, draping technique and color coordination to create effects like sparkling waves in the sun.

Once again through the language of fashion, Le Thanh Hoa defines the image of a modern woman as soft as water but also strong, possessing inner strength.

Miss Thanh Thuy opened the show with a sparkling design simulating the beauty of water under light.

Model Thanh Hang took on the role of vedette. She wore a cobalt blue dress with high-cut shoulders. Le Thanh Hoa said the design was made from thousands of super-thin plastic fibers, creating a unique lighting effect.

"This is the first season marking the journey into a new decade of Vietnam International Fashion Week.

After 10 years of perseverance and continuous development, we have a very clear vision: it is time for us to work together towards a bigger goal - to make Vietnam a country with a developed fashion industry" - Ms. Trang Le - President of Vietnam International Fashion Week - shared.

Vietnam International Fashion Week Spring Summer 2025 takes place from June 5 to 8, at Nguyen Du Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City.

There are 16 domestic and international designers and fashion brands participating such as: Le Thanh Hoa, Ha Nhat Tien, Adrian Anh Tuan, Dang Trong Minh Chau, Vuong Khang, Ivan Tran, Alberto Zambelli (Italy), Frederick Lee (Singapore)... Especially, there is the presence of designer Julien Fournié (France), a Haute Couture award-winning designer who has participated in Paris Fashion Week .
