At 24, Amy is a model and wedding and events coordinator from the town of Strathaven.

In August 2024, Amy excelled over 9 contestants to be crowned Miss Scotland, receiving support from both the judges and fans.

Amy chose a community project focused on supporting people with multiple sclerosis (MS) - a disease that affects the central nervous system - a decision she was inspired to make when she saw her cousin diagnosed with the disease five years ago.
The beauty organized a charity gala, combining ticket sales and a raffle, raising more than £3,000 (about 100 million VND) for the MS Association in the UK.

“I will never truly understand what it feels like to have this disease, but I understand the anxiety that families feel when their loved ones are affected by it,” Amy shared.

Before coming to India to attend Miss World, Amy took a flight of more than 10,000 km to Vietnam to meet Miss Huynh Tran Y Nhi. After chatting on Instagram, the two quickly found similarities in personality, and from there decided to meet in person.
In Ho Chi Minh City, the two beauties wore ao dai and conical hats, visited Ben Thanh market and enjoyed typical fruits such as rambutan and mangosteen. Amy expressed: "Y Nhi is very friendly, warm and extremely sweet. We had a good conversation and I did not hesitate to get on a plane to meet her in person."

Once a shy girl, Amy has undergone major changes since starting her journey to prepare for Miss World. She learned catwalk, expression and communication with a coach from the Philippines - each session started at 5am due to the time difference.

“The pageant taught me that confidence isn't about trying to be the perfect model, but about learning to accept and love yourself,” Amy said.
