On September 20, artist - record holder Hoang Ngoc Truc, stage name Hoang Truc, was recognized by the Vietnam Record Organization as the person who created the largest number of paintings with the theme “Memory Land” on cardboard. This is the second time artist Hoang Truc has set a Vietnamese record.
Artist - record holder Hoang Truc (born in 1962) is currently a member of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and the Vinh Phuc Literature and Arts Association. He began working on the collection of more than 2,000 paintings with the theme "Memory Land" (including landscapes, countryside, still life, cubism...) on cardboard in 2012.
Painter Hoang Truc sets Vietnamese record for the second time.
Painter Hoang Truc said he chose to paint on cardboard because the material is environmentally friendly and can be used in life. Through that, he sends the message: Let's take action to join hands to protect the green - clean - beautiful living environment; at the same time, preserve and promote the cultural identity of the Vietnamese people through each painting.
Previously, in 2023, the painting series "Dragon Transformation" by artist Hoang Truc also set a record for "The largest collection of paintings with the theme of Dragon on areca spathe material in Vietnam".
Currently, artist Hoang Truc has a personal painting museum at 87 Lam Son Street, Tich Son Ward, Vinh Yen City with more than 4,000 works; many of which have participated in the ASEAN International Exhibition and won many prestigious awards.
