On the afternoon of May 6, Ha Tinh Women's Union coordinated with the International Organization for Migration (IOM), Vu Quang Women's Union and Vu Quang High School to organize Golden Bell Competition with the theme "Learning about safe migration and preventing illegal migration from Vietnam to Australia by boat".

At the contest, 100 contestants were numbered in order and took turns answering 20 questions (divided into 2 stages) given by the organizers.

For each question, contestants have 15 seconds to think and answer by showing the answer sheet. Contestants who give the wrong answer will be eliminated, while those who give the correct answer will continue to answer the next question. The last remaining contestant is the best. If the contestant answers the final question of the organizers correctly, he/she will be the winner and receive the “Golden Bell” award.
In case after 20 questions there are 2 or more contestants left, the organizers will use classification questions to find the winner.
Besides the official competition, the program also has a competition for the audience.


After an exciting session, the contest to learn about safe migration and prevent illegal migration from Vietnam to Australia by boat found the best contestants.
The organizing committee awarded 1 first prize and 1 second prize; in which, the first prize belonged to Le Ngoc Huan, a student of class 10A2.

The competition aims to raise students' awareness of safe migration and prevention of illegal migration from Vietnam to Australia by sea; help students understand the risks of illegal migration, forced labor, exploitation; learn more about Australia's policies on illegal migration by boat... Thereby, making wise decisions about migration.
The contest is also an opportunity to equip students with knowledge to help them develop life skills and self-protection skills against the risks of exploitation and abuse, while improving their personal position when participating in the future labor market.
