At the Hung Vuong High School (Dong Xoai City) test site, more than 500 candidates completed the English test with a relaxed spirit. Bui Nguyen Ha Vi, a student at Tien Hung Secondary School (Dong Xoai City) shared: “Compared to previous exams, I found the English test quite easy. The questions were easy to understand, the content was familiar such as environmental protection or daily habits, so I did the test very comfortably. I think I can get over 8 points.”

Student Nguyen Ngoc Can Khon, Tan Dong Secondary School (Dong Xoai City) expressed: "This year's English exam was not too difficult, especially the reading comprehension part which was very easy to understand and interesting. I did quite well, hoping to get above 8 points."
According to the Departmentof Education and Training, 11,411 candidates registered for the English exam, but 222 were absent. The most absentees were at Phuoc Long High School with 26 candidates, followed by Thanh Hoa High School with 16 candidates; Nguyen Du High School and Bu Dang High School both had 12 absent candidates; Tran Phu High School, Dong Tien Middle School and Dong Tien High School each had 10 absent candidates. The main reasons for absenteeism were not meeting the requirements for graduating from middle school, skipping the exam, being absent without reason, and many other reasons. |

Nguyen Hoang Lam Minh, Tan Lap Secondary School, shared: Before taking the exam, I was worried because I thought that this year's English exam would be more difficult according to the new curriculum. But after 60 minutes of doing the test, I found the test easy. I got about 85%. I found some of the pronunciation and grammar questions quite difficult.
Although according to the general assessment of some students, the test is relatively suitable for their ability, however, for the average group of students, completing this test is relatively difficult. Student Nguyen Ngoc Dan, Tan Loi Primary and Secondary School, shared: With this test, my ability to do it is only about 60%. However, combining the 3 subjects, I am confident that I will pass the entrance exam to Dong Phu High School as I registered.
