According to the Ministry of Education and Training , the advanced education program for specialized subjects in specialized schools is built on the principle of improving from the subject program, not including extended content outside the subject knowledge content unit, international approach, and continuous innovation according to the world's approach trends.
The subject content contains topics that approach national and international content of interest, meeting the requirements of key training, selecting talents, and responding to national and international competitions for excellent students.

Advanced education programs in specialized subjects with compulsory content and compulsory elective content account for about 20% of the duration of the advanced education program.
In addition, the program for specialized school students will also increase the content of practice and experiments for natural sciences in each topic, promote the exploitation of information technology and orient specialized students in the exploitation and use of artificial intelligence (AI). Strengthen the requirements for self-study guidance, creative problem-solving ability and focus on skills aimed at developing students' thinking abilities according to the characteristics of the subject.
Knowledge in the core program, study topics and advanced education topics are connected, inherited, innovated and synchronized; creating novelty and attraction for both teachers and learners when conquering increasingly higher levels of knowledge.
The advanced program with academic and specialized orientation also requires teachers to improve their professional capacity, have broad and deep knowledge of the subject; be proficient in active teaching methods, integrated teaching, scientific research, and develop students' capacity.
