On the morning of November 19, Party Central Committee member and City Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang visited and congratulated the Department of Education and Training. Accompanying him were Head of the City Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Huynh Thi Thuy Dung and Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan.
The City Party Secretary sent warm congratulations and deep gratitude to generations of teachers, management staff, civil servants and public employees of the entire city's education sector.
According to the Secretary of the City Party Committee, Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in education and training development, identifies education as a field that must be comprehensively innovated, creating a clear change in quality, efficiency and equity. Da Nang, with the aspiration to become a high-quality education center of the region, is one of the first localities to proactively grasp and concretize the spirit of the resolution into the work program and tasks of the school year.
In recent times, despite the large workload and many tasks, the city's education and training sector has maintained order, quality, and discipline, organized exams well, maintained the rate of schools meeting national standards; advised on many new education policies for the City People's Council to promulgate and completed the appointment of management staff after the administrative unit arrangement.
The Party Committee of the Department continues to affirm its core role, solidarity, and responsibility, creating a foundation for the entire sector to effectively implement key tasks. However, the city's education sector is facing a new phase, requiring new thinking, new models, and new approaches in line with the breakthrough spirit set forth in Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW.
The City Party Secretary suggested that it is necessary to continue to strongly innovate the thinking and model of education development, shifting from administrative management thinking to modern education system management; from focusing on imparting knowledge to developing students' capacity, qualities, bravery, life skills and integration spirit.
The teaching staff must be given attention and development to meet the requirements of the new era, "Bright heart - High vision - Strong mind - Good digital skills"; promote training and fostering according to professional standards; honor and create mechanisms to encourage teachers to be creative, conduct scientific research, innovate teaching methods, reduce unnecessary pressure so that teachers can confidently devote themselves.
Take advantage of Da Nang's strengths in the digital field to form a smart education system: student data according to the life cycle, school management using technology, digital learning materials, AI applications in teaching and learning, enhancing digital skills for students from primary level. The industry needs to take the lead in implementing the Digital Education pillar in the spirit of Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW.
The whole sector is interested in developing a synchronous, modern and equitable school system; improving the quality of national standard schools; prioritizing investment in preschools and primary schools in densely populated areas; ensuring that children with disabilities and ethnic minority students have access to quality education; perfecting the model of friendly, safe and happy schools. It is necessary to speed up the progress of school projects in border areas.
It is necessary to continue researching specific educational mechanisms for Da Nang, strengthen policy consultation and perfect educational institutions, develop high-quality human resources, expand bilingual education models; connect businesses - universities - high schools, and develop talent training programs associated with the city's strategic needs.

On the same day, visiting Le Thanh Tong High School for the Gifted (Hoi An Tay Ward), City Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang sent warm congratulations to all cadres, teachers and staff of the school; commended and acknowledged the outstanding achievements that the school has achieved over the past time.
The City Party Secretary said that although the time of operation is still short, but with the relentless efforts, the school has grown strongly, affirmed its position and become one of the leading educational centers of Quang Nam province in the past.
The school's teaching staff, with their dedication and rich experience, always try to adapt to changes in thinking, perspectives and teaching methods.
Thanks to that, the school's students develop strongly, proactively and positively in learning and researching. Educational approaches are innovative, helping students not only learn knowledge but also form independent scientific research skills and critical thinking.
The City Party Secretary hopes that the school will continue to promote its achievements, replicate the modern and effective educational model; and continue to train high-quality human resources to supplement the human resources of the city and the country.
The City Party Secretary requested the City People's Committee to pay attention and allocate reasonable funds to renovate and repair classrooms and infrastructure, in order to ensure the best learning environment for students. The Department of Education and Training advises on appropriate policies to attract and train a team of highly qualified teachers, meeting the development needs of the city's education system.

In the 2024-2025 school year, the city's students affirmed their capacity and courage in international knowledge arenas, with many outstanding achievements such as: winning 1 Second Prize at the International Science and Technology Competition; 3 Gold Medals at the International Mathematics Olympiad; 1 Bronze Medal at the European Physics Olympiad; 1 Gold Medal, 1 Bronze Medal at the International Artificial Intelligence Olympiad and 1 Second Prize at the 54th UPU International Letter Writing Competition.
These results have the silent contribution of the teaching staff in educating, training, inspiring, and guiding students to become confident, courageous young citizens, living a useful life for themselves, their families, and society.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Nam Hung acknowledged the achievements of the entire education sector in recent times; at the same time, praised and expressed gratitude to all teachers on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20.
The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee emphasized that entering a new development phase after the merger, the city has determined the goal of developing Da Nang into a smart, livable city, a high-quality education and training center of the Central Highlands region.

30 collectives received the Emulation Flag of the City People's Committee; 22 individuals were awarded the title "City-level Emulation Fighter"; 28 collectives received Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the City People's Committee; 20 collectives achieved the title "Excellent Labor Collective".
