On the afternoon of November 8, in Da Lat city, Lam Dong province, the Army Academy held a meeting to celebrate the 71st anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Founding Day of the Royal Cambodian Army (November 9, 1953 - November 9, 2024).

Attending the meeting were Major General Nguyen Cong Son, Deputy Political Commissar of the Army Academy ; Colonel Le Anh Vuong, Deputy Commander of the Lam Dong Provincial Military Command; representatives of the command agencies, units of the academy, the delegation of the Royal Cambodian Army Academy and the Lao People's Army.

Also attending were representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province, the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association, the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association and Cambodian and Lao students at Da Lat University.
At the meeting, delegates and students of the Royal Cambodian Army reviewed the traditions and development history of the Kingdom of Cambodia and the Royal Cambodian Army.

Over the past 71 years, the Kingdom of Cambodia has grown strongly on the path of integration and development, achieving many outstanding achievements in many fields. The role and position of the "Land of Pagodas" has been increasingly consolidated and enhanced in the international arena.

Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Army Academy , Major General Nguyen Cong Son congratulated the achievements of the Kingdom of Cambodia over the past 71 years. He also emphasized the friendly neighborly relations and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Cambodia, actively contributing to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

The Deputy Commissar of the Army Academy praised the achievements of the Royal Cambodian Army cadets during their studies and training at the Academy in the past time. He hoped that the cadets would continue to strive to study, cultivate and train to improve their political qualities and military knowledge to build an increasingly strong Royal Cambodian Army. Thereby, contributing to further enhancing the special solidarity and friendship between the people and armies of the three countries of Vietnam-Laos-Cambodia in general, and between Vietnam and Cambodia in particular.

On behalf of the Royal Cambodian Army cadets, the leader, Lieutenant Colonel Meng Cheyrithy, expressed his deep affection and gratitude to the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the Army Academy, along with the officers, lecturers, cadets, staff and soldiers of the Academy for their attention and support in helping Cambodian cadets study, train and become highly qualified officers and cadres to serve the country.

On this occasion, the Board of Directors of the Army Academy, agencies and units under the Academy, together with representatives of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Dong province; the Vietnam-Cambodia Friendship Association of the province; the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association of the province and the delegation of students of the Lao People's Army presented bouquets of flowers to congratulate the students of the Royal Cambodian Army studying and working at the Army Academy.
