(Dan Tri) - According to the expected enrollment plan of the Diplomatic Academy in 2025, there are many new points, such as eliminating the admission method based on interview results and increasing the admission combination.
The expected admission method of the Diplomatic Academy was just announced tonight (March 27), this year there are many new points: Increasing the number of admission combinations, creating favorable conditions for candidates to register according to their strengths, for example some new combinations such as: D09, D10, D14, D15.
This year, the school added a new admission method combining international certificates and high school graduation exam scores; added the PTE-A certificate to the list of international certificates considered; admission scores are rounded to two decimal places and converted to a 30-point scale.
The school considers admission by major, according to the principle of taking admission scores from high to low until the quota is full. Candidates are considered equally based on their scores, regardless of the order of their registration wishes, except in the case of candidates with the same admission score at the end of the list, in which case the Academy will use additional criteria for admission.

Candidates will only be admitted to the highest choice in the list of registered choices. Admission scores are rounded to two decimal places and converted to a 30-point scale.
Based on the assessment of the quality of students admitted according to the methods and admission combinations, the Academy will convert the equivalent admission scores between the methods and admission combinations.
Candidates can register for admission in different ways if they fully meet the prescribed criteria; they cannot register for an unlimited number of wishes and must arrange their wishes in order of priority from highest to lowest (wish 1 is the highest wish).
The threshold for ensuring input quality will be specifically stipulated in the Academy's 2025 Enrollment Project.
In 2025, the Diplomatic Academy will have 4 admission methods as follows:
Method 1 : Direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training .
Method 2 : Combined admission based on High School Academic Results and International Certificates/International standardized competency tests.
Method 3: Combined admission based on the results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam and International Certificates/International standardized competency tests.
Method 4: Admission based on the results of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam.
In method 2, in addition to the general conditions as prescribed, candidates must meet the following conditions: Have an average score of 8.0 or higher in the 6 semesters of grades 10, 11, and 12.

Have one of the following International Certificates/International standardized tests that are still valid as of the date of application:
English: IELTS Academic from 6.0 or higher, or TOEFL iBT from 60 or higher, or PTE-A from 46 points or higher, or Cambridge English Qualifications from 169 points or higher, or SAT from 1200 points or higher, or ACT from 23 points or higher.
French: DELF-B1 or higher or TCF tout public (5 tests: listening comprehension, grammar structure, reading comprehension, writing, speaking) generally classified as B1 or higher.
Chinese: HSK 4 (score from 260) or above.
Korean: Topik 3 or higher.
Japanese: N3 or higher.
Formula for calculating admission scores: Admission scores (maximum 30) = A+B+C+D. In which: A is the converted score of International Certificate/International standardized competency test.
B is the sum of the average score of the learning results of 02 subjects other than foreign language (must include math or literature) in the Academy's admission combination of 6 semesters of grades 10, 11, 12.
C is the Academy's incentive score for candidates who win high school excellence awards (if any).
D is the priority score according to the regulations of the Ministryof Education and Training (if any).
In the method of considering high school graduation exam scores, the Diplomatic Academy does not use the results of foreign language exemptions; does not use the reserved scores from high school graduation exams and national high school exams of previous years for admission in 2025; and does not add priority points for candidates with vocational certificates.
The admission scores for this method are as follows:
Admission score (maximum 30) = A + B + C, in which A is the total score of 3 subjects in the admission combination of the academy; B is the encouragement score of the Academy for candidates who won the Excellent High School Student Award (if any).
C is a priority point according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training (if any).

The Academy notes that priority points include: Priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training include: priority points by subject and priority points by region, determined according to current Admission Regulations.
Regional priority policy only applies to candidates graduating from high school in 2024 and 2025; the maximum incentive score according to the Academy's regulations is 0.8 points. The total admission score does not exceed 30 points.
