Hoi An develops tourism products associated with the brand "Green Tourism"

The city has organized training and guidance on green tourism practices; communicated and called on tourists to join in green tourism practices. Many tourism products and services associated with the “Green Tourism” brand have appeared such as: waste recycling tours; visits to the Firewood Village, recycling workshops; organic kumquat growing experiences; zero-waste meals, etc.

To date, the city has had 21 establishments recognized as green according to the criteria of Quang Nam province, including: 8 tourist attractions in the old quarter; 3 hotels, 2 resorts, 2 homestays, 3 tourist villas, and 3 travel businesses.

Some tourist accommodation and service establishments in the city have also achieved green tourism titles such as: Lasenta Boutique Hotel Hoi An won the title of Top 10 friendly hotels for the national green environment; Silk Sense Hoi An River Resort is the first establishment in the country to implement no plastic waste at the facility; Canh Dong Restaurant was awarded the "Low Carbon Emission" certificate...
