The Provincial Association for the Support of Poor Patients organizes a free cataract surgery program.

The eye surgery program was coordinated by the BTBNN Association and Nguyen Dinh Chieu Hospital to perform 90 surgeries in 3 days, from May 17 to 19, 2023. Of which, Ms. Trang Cass San Mateo (Vietnamese American) sponsored 80 surgeries (worth 100 million VND); Dr. Le Ngoc Bay - X-ray Department, Ward 5, Ben Tre City sponsored 10 million VND and the association fund contributed to 10 surgeries. In addition, Ms. Trang Cass San Mateo also donated 21 wheelchairs (worth 126.25 million VND).

On the same day, the leaders of the BTBNN Association, on behalf of the French-Vietnamese Association for Development and Pedagogical Exchange (ADEP France-Vietnam), awarded scholarships to three poor and orphaned students (two students in grade 10 at Lac Long Quan High School and one student in grade 10 at Vo Truong Toan High School). Each scholarship is worth 2.5 million VND.

It is known that from May 25 to June 4, 2023, the BTBNN Association received the Mercer on Mission - Vietnam Volunteer Group of Mercer University, USA, to Ben Tre to support free prosthetic limbs for people with disabilities in Ben Tre province and some neighboring provinces.
