Kien Xuong District Red Cross Society removed 18 temporary and dilapidated houses.

Responding to the peak emulation campaign "300 days of joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" launched by the province, the Kien Xuong District Red Cross Society has played a good role as a humanitarian bridge, actively mobilizing resources from cadres, members, volunteers, organizations, businesses and philanthropists to support the construction and repair of houses for poor and near-poor households in especially difficult circumstances.

Since the beginning of the year, the association has supported the construction of 8 new houses with a total cost of 480 million VND and repaired 10 dilapidated houses with a total cost of 340 million VND. Mobilizing hundreds of working days, raw materials and essential items, helping families soon stabilize their lives and develop their economy .

Aiming for the goal of no more temporary or dilapidated houses in the province before June 30, 2025, in the coming time, the Kien Xuong District Red Cross Society will step up propaganda and mobilization work, calling for the cooperation of the whole society, contributing to bringing sustainable homes and stable jobs to disadvantaged households.
