Thai Thuy Electricity manages and operates 684 stations/716 transformers with a capacity of 276,742kVA; more than 490km of medium-voltage lines and more than 960km of low-voltage lines, supplying electricity to more than 101,000 customers in 36 communes and towns. To ensure safe, continuous and stable electricity supply, the unit has directed management and operation teams to inspect the power grid, assign tasks to each individual, team, and inspection group and take responsibility for each device and line under their responsibility. At the same time, strengthen line maintenance, focus on handling and overcoming grid defects. Mr. Dao Manh Hung, Synthesis Team No. 2 said: The team is assigned to manage the power grid in Thai Do and My Loc communes. To provide stable and safe electricity to customers, Thai Thuy Electricity has replaced all wires from the grid to the meter box with copper cables to reduce power loss and improve voltage quality. In addition, the Team has arranged human resources, vehicles, and equipment to be ready when incidents occur on the power grid system under its management. In particular, it has arranged human resources on duty 24/7 to quickly handle incidents for customers, avoiding major impacts on production and people's lives.
In addition to being on duty 24/24 hours, Thai Thuy Electricity actively applies digital transformation in production and business activities such as repairing the hotline power grid to perform work right on the power line; connecting new customers on the medium voltage line to minimize power outage time, improve power supply stability; digitize processes, use PD local discharge measuring devices, long-range thermal cameras, and drones to improve technical management and operation, promptly detect and handle existing problems and defects on the power grid. With the goal of modernizing the electricity metering system, ensuring the digital transformation process in management, operation and business is effective, the unit has deployed the installation and replacement of mechanical meters with electronic meters. Mr. Vu Cong Thang, Head of Business Department, said: By May 2025, Thai Thuy Electricity has replaced 100% of electronic meters; Digitize all business processes and customer information on the electricity customer management information system; promote cashless electricity payment, provide 100% of electricity services electronically.
On the other hand, Thai Thuy Electricity has increased propaganda and guidance for customers to use electricity safely, economically and effectively through many forms such as radio systems, customer care social networks and direct propaganda at households. At the same time, it encourages people to use energy-saving devices and warns of the risk of fire and explosion due to improper use of electricity. Tanson International Company Limited in My Xuyen Industrial Park is one of the leading enterprises in implementing electricity saving. Mr. Pham Van Dong, representative of Tanson International Company Limited, said: The company specializes in manufacturing and processing children's toys, creating jobs for more than 200 workers. On average, the company consumes 190,000kWh per month. To save electricity, the company has installed a lighting system with energy-saving lamps and installed separate switches for each lighting system or each production area so that it can proactively turn off or disconnect electrical equipment when not in use. In addition, the Company gradually replaces old, outdated equipment with modern, energy-saving equipment; arranges production time at reasonable times, avoiding peak hours to reduce the amount of electricity needed; actively promotes employees to use electricity economically and safely. Notably, in early 2025, the Company installed a solar power system with an output of 2,000kWh, the Company's electricity costs have decreased by 10-15% compared to before.
Since the beginning of 2025, Thai Thuy Electricity has worked with construction units to speed up the construction progress of project items such as renovating 22kV and 35kV lines; renovating 21km of low-voltage lines; renovating 10 transformer stations; installing 1 set of Recloser and 3 sets of LBS to improve the stability of power supply. Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chung, Director of Thai Thuy Electricity, said: To ensure power supply during the hot season, Thai Thuy Electricity continues to promote propaganda on measures to use electricity economically; sign a voluntary load adjustment program with enterprises with large-scale production and consumption of electricity to prevent grid overload during peak hours; digital transformation in management, safe operation of the grid, handling grid incidents in accordance with procedures and regulations, ensuring power quality. In 2025, Thai Thuy Power Company strives to complete the deployment of medium voltage circuit automation and connect RMU cabinets to the remote control center to improve the reliability of power supply to Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park; renovate the power grid according to the multi-split, multi-connection plan in Duong Phuc, Thuan Thanh, and Thuy Thanh communes; renovate and upgrade the 35kV line, Highway 373, Thai Hung 110kV station to improve the reliability of power supply to Tan Hoc, Thuan Thanh, Thai Thinh, and Thai Tho communes, contributing to promoting local socio -economic development.
