Widespread rain, thunderstorm warning in Ho Chi Minh City

In the coming hours, thunderstorms will continue to develop, causing showers with thunderstorms and lightning. Rainfall is generally from 3-15mm, with some places over 20mm. During thunderstorms, beware of tornadoes, hail and strong gusts of wind, heavy rain causing localized flooding.

According to the Southern Institute of Water Resources Research , last week, unseasonal rains appeared in most of the Mekong Delta, with rainfall ranging from 20-50mm, and in some places over 100mm. Prolonged heavy rains flooded many roads in Can Tho City, causing difficulties for people in daily life and travel.

It is forecasted that next week, many places in the Mekong Delta will continue to have rain, with rainfall ranging from 30-50mm.
