(Haiphong.gov.vn) - As of September 24, 2024, the Hai Phong City Red Cross Society at all levels has received cash and goods donations from organizations and individuals to help the people of Hai Phong City and introduced volunteer groups to provide relief to the northern provinces damaged by storm No. 3 with a total amount of VND 5,539,000,000 .

Of which, the City Red Cross Society has mobilized and received 1,076,000,000 VND (not including the funding to support the construction of collapsed houses and the dead from Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup , which is awaiting approval). The Red Cross Societies of districts, towns and bases have mobilized 1,671,000,000 VND.

In addition, the City and District Red Cross Associations have introduced volunteer groups through the Red Cross Association to provide relief to provinces affected by natural disasters and floods with a value of money and goods of VND 2,792,000,000.

In the coming time, the City Red Cross will continue to mobilize organizations, individuals, businesses, and philanthropists to donate cash and goods to support households affected by storm No. 3 in the recovery and reconstruction phase after the natural disaster. At the same time, continue to introduce volunteer groups to support people in provinces affected by natural disasters and floods.
