Provincial Red Cross Society visits and supports poor and seriously ill students

It is known that Anh Thu unfortunately broke both ankles and was taken to the hospital for surgery. However, during the treatment, her legs became infected and had to undergo multiple surgeries to remove the necrotic flesh. The prolonged treatment and use of high doses of antibiotics caused kidney failure, her condition became more and more serious with complications such as pneumonia, blood infection and osteomyelitis requiring long-term treatment at high costs. Meanwhile, Thu's family in village 2, Me Pu commune, Duc Linh district is in very difficult circumstances, her mother is a worker and now has to quit her job to take care of her, her father is a construction worker so the family does not have enough money for her long-term treatment.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan - President of the Provincial Red Cross Association visited, encouraged and gave support money to Anh Thu.

In response to the situation of Thu and her family, the Provincial Red Cross Society donated 20 million VND from the Thien Tam Fund - Vingroup Corporation to Anh Thu.

On behalf of the visiting delegation, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Nhan - President of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented the gift and sincerely asked about the student's study situation, encouraged her to try to overcome difficulties, confidently treat her illness to continue studying and improve in life. This is a very meaningful gift for Anh Thu, helping her and her family to solve current difficulties and create conditions for her to go to school with her friends in the future.
